Johnson City Council Aids Wildfire Victims

On Nov. 28, 2016, a massive wildfire ripped through Gatlinburg, Tennessee, destroying homes and forcing thousands of evacuations.  The Johnson City Council rallied 36 volunteers to Volunteer in East Tennessee where they addressed the needs of those affected by the wildfires. The Pioneers made a tremendous impact in sorting donations and clearing waste materials at the Knoxville Distribution Center in an effort to help clean up and rebuild the Gatlinburg community.
