Ohio Northwest Council Throws Party at Family House of Toledo
The Northwest Council for the Telecom Pioneers held a birthday party for three homeless children at the Family House of Toledo. The families played card bingo and enjoyed cake, ice cream and punch. The children celebrating birthdays in February and March were given presents to take back to their rooms to open. The Council does this every two months under the direction of Fran Ballert who chairs the committee.
Pictured are her helpers, Cletus and Nancy Kowalski, Krinn Keller (Fran’s great niece) and her friend, and Denise Wixey. The Family House is the second largest home housing homeless families in the state of Ohio.
Those celebrating birthdays are: Damari (1), Heaven (3) and Trevon (11).
