San Jacinto S Council Gives Kids Fun Day

When the  San Jacinto S Council visited The Bridge for Mother’s Day, they felt a compelling need to do something special for these kids who have been through so much in their young lives. The council put together a day the kids won’t soon forget!

They had hot dogs and Frito pies for lunch and then they were entertained by a magician.   It was wonderful to see the children’s eyes light up in amazement when he performed his tricks.  Then, they were treated to snow cones, cotton candy, a humongous waterslide (which of course was the crowd favorite!)  There was a craft section set up where the kids could paint their own sun catchers and for games a bean bag  toss, and a table game of knock down the pins and everyone who played  won a prize.

Kids who were reserved in the beginning truly came to life as the day went on. Their smiles said it all.
