The Sun Shines with the Spotlight on Liberty Garden Pioneers

America’s Grow-a-Row’s (AGAR) mission is to positively impact as many lives as possible through a volunteer effort of planting, picking and delivering free fresh produce to food pantries and food banks in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and to food desert areas (areas where people lack access to healthy, fresh, affordable produce) in Newark, Jersey City, Camden, and Morristown.  The Liberty Garden Pioneers joined employees from across New Jersey to participate in a Corporate-wide Community Service project picking 44,000 pounds of corn and squash that will serve 137,000 meals to those in need.  This supports our goal to give back in the communities where we live and work, and represents the true spirit of giving.
